Said doctor happens to be working on getting to be a lung specialist :D
Highlights of said month included a pacemaker operation (I was on the medical department, not the surgical, so this WAS special. Also the guy who was operating cut a surface artery by accident, so there was a little SPURTING blood), a guy who slipped and fell on his shower floor and had second degree burns from his head to his heels (died that night, poor old man), two attempted suicides, neither of whom succeeded and one guy who'd slept very poorly all summer and therefore was pretty psychotic.
And my sister finally got her first Pokemon game (Platinum, because she reaally wanted Giratina) so I've been the Pokéguru a lot too. She had her Empoleon at level 100 before I left :>
Also, three days before I headed back to Tromsø, my dad abruptly decided that since we hadn't gone kayaking this summer, we were going to Trondheim next day shopping. So we drove down that day, and back up the next day. I got lots of new books, three issues of Nemi (comic magazine I've been collecting since issue 13. And I got 8 when that came out because it was a Christmas present) I didn't have, and actual CDs of Dream Theater's Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and Alice Cooper's From The Inside and School's Out. And didn't have to go to IKEA. Evil, evil, gigantic furniture store that it is.
